NOTE: Only with Service Pack 2
Follow the procedure described in this chapter only if Windows XP, Service
Pack 2 is installed. If this is not the case, begin with the Chapter on Installing
the WLAN card [ 7].
Is Windows XP, Service Pack 2 installed?
Click "Start" / "Settings" / "Control panel" in the task bar.

Double-click the "System" icon in the "Control panel" window.

The "System Properties" window then opens. You can check
the Service Pack version here. Then close the window.
2.1 Deactivating the warning settings in the
Security Center
CAUTION: Reactivate the warnings on completing the
installation
Once you have installed and configured the software, you must reactivate the
warnings (refer to the Chapter "Reactivating the warning settings" [ 20].
Double-click the "Security Center" icon in the "Control panel"
