Warnings/Error Messages

In addition to normal information, e.g. water temperature, the
K4 control also displays warnings and error messages.
Warnings and error messages can be distinguished as follows:
Warnings (e. g. A01) signal unusual operating conditions.
Although the respective operating status can somewhat restrict
shower performance, you can still take showers.
Error messages (e. g. F01) also signal unusual operating
conditions. Here however, shower operation remains complete-
ly blocked until the error has been cleared. This prevents any
hazards to the user.
List of possible warnings/error messages on the K4 display:

A01 Thermostat motor current too low
A03 Thermostat motor current too high
A05 Resistance of thermostat potentiometer too low
A07 Resistance of thermostat potentiometer too high
A11 Improbable values from temperature sensor
A12 Teaching aborted (error during motor adjustment)
Error messages
F01 Keyboard 1 not responding
F03 Extension module not responding
F09 Controller error
F14 Motor current, motor temperature too high,
nominal temperature >42° C

What to do when warnings or error messages
are displayed?
Note the letter/number combination shown on the display.
Pass the number combination and, if possible, the associated
cause explained in the following list, as soon as you contact
your sanitary dealer. The dealer can then react quickly to the
malfunction.
