1. Assembling the electric Boxspring

1.1 Lay the movable top of the box on the
upper side and position base so that the holes
are aligned with the screws.
Make sure you place the head
on the head and the foot on the
foot!

1.2 Fix the base to the movable top
using the 4 long screws (Parts 004).
Please note: initially, fasten screws
only lightly.
1.3 Fasten the foot end motor bracket to the top using
the 4 short screws (Parts 005).
1.4 Align base and top and tighten all screws.

2. Installing the motor

2.1 Open both closing plates (1) fully by sliding them
out sideways.

3 Batteries for emergency lowering mechanism
4 Battery holder
(ready-mounted)
5 Strain relief grip
6 Power unit
7 Mains cable
(with country-specific mains plug)
8 Secondary connector
9 Secondary cable
Caution:
Make sure you route the cable via the strain relief grip
and protect it against tension, pressure and bending.
2.2 Please do not connect the enclosed batteries,
otherwise they will run down over a period of approx.
2–3 years. In case of a power failure, the bed can
be moved back to the horizontal position.
N.B.: Please connect the batteries if required.
Test the batteries once a year.
