Servo rotation and travel and failsafe

option of changing the servo rotation and travel settings.

Servo rotation

The direction in which a servo turns is adapted to prac-
tical conditions present with the given model, so that no
attention must be paid to the specified direction of servo
rotation when assembling linkage and joints. The travel
direction can be set separately for each channel in the
transmitter's programming mode.

Programming procedure
Power on the transmitter and receiver system.
Enter programming mode on the transmitter:
The joysticks can be pressed downward to trigger internal
switches.
• Press both joysticks for about 2 seconds. The trans-
mitter status LED flashes red about once a second
and a low beep is heard. The transmitter is now in
programming mode.
• Press and hold the TRIM key for the desired channel
in one direction until the beeping stops. Once you
have reached the limit position, press the POWER key
again → the rotation direction has been changed.
• As a check, the green LED flashes once to indicate a
'normal' rotation direction and twice for the 'inverted'
direction.
• The transmitter status LED flashes red about once a
second and a low beep is heard. The transmitter now
returns to programming mode.
• Afterwards press both joysticks again for about 1 se-
cond. The transmitter status LED changes to green
and a beep is heard.
• The transmitter is now again ready to operate.

Servo travel

The function is used to set an asymmetrical path,
i.e. one that is independent of the control side, for all
channels. Servo travel can be set separately for each
channel in the transmitter's programming mode.
Programming procedure
Power on the transmitter and receiver system.
Enter programming mode on the transmitter:
The joysticks can be pressed downward to trigger
internal switches.
• Press both joysticks for about 2 seconds. The trans-
mitter status LED flashes red about once a second
and a low beep is heard. The transmitter is now in
programming mode.
• Now move the TRIM key of the desired channel in
the chosen direction until the optimum path of servo
travel is achieved.
• Servo travel can be set within a range of 50% to
150% (in either direction), whereas a short high
beep sounds at 100%.
• The transmitter status LED now flashes red again
about once every second, while the beeping
changes from two short beeps to one long one. The
setting can be stored.
• Afterwards press both joysticks again for about
1 second. The transmitter status LED changes to
green and a beep is heard.
• The transmitter is now again ready to operate.
