Changing the Minimum Time between Two Alarm Messages
In case of an alarm, the "GX107" sends an alarm message. Further messages of the same type
are only sent when the respective cause registers another alarm situation after a certain period
of time (default settings: 5 minutes). You can change the interval.
To do so, use the following SMS command:
SET IDLEALARM <Time> #1513
Time can be set between 1 and 240 minutes.
Example:
SET IDLEALARM 15 #1513
The interval between alarm messages is now 15 minutes.
Attention!
During this time, you will not be informed that the cause for the alarm has
changed again. You need to check the parameters yourself during this time.
Reset to Default Settings
Send the following command to reset the default settings (5 minutes):
RESET IDLEALARM #1513
Test Settings
To test the desired settings, use the command:
TEST IDLEALARM #1513
Example:
A signal at the opto input (IN1) causes an alarm. Within the "IDLEALARM" interval, IN1 cannot
trigger any further alarms. Only after this time, another alarm can be triggered.
This does not affect any other alarm, such as ADC or GPS.
