4. Explanation of Symbols

An exclamation mark in a triangle indicates important instructions in this
operating manual which must be observed.

The "hand" icon indicates special tips and notes on the operation of the device.

5. Safety Notices

The guarantee/warranty will be void if damage is incurred resulting from
non-compliance with the operating instructions. We will not assume any
responsibility for consequential damage!
We do not assume liability for damage to property or personal injury
caused by improper use or the failure to observe the safety instructions!
In such cases the guarantee/warranty will be void.
• This module left the factory in perfect condition in terms of safety engineering. We kindly
request that you as a user observe the safety instructions and warnings contained in this
operating manual to preserve this condition and to ensure safe operation!
• This module is equipped with highly integrated components. Electronic components are
very sensitive to static electricity discharge. Only handle the module by the edges and avoid
contact with the pins of the components on the circuit board.
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the module control is inadmissible for
safety and approval reasons (CE).
• When handling products that may come into contact with electric voltage, observe the valid
VDE regulations, especially VDE 0100, VDE 0550/0551, VDE 0700, VDE 0711 and VDE
0860.
• Contact an expert if you have any doubt about how the module works or about how to
connect it.
• The module may only be operated after it has been installed in the casing secured from
touch. The power must be switched off when installing the module. All wiring work must be
performed with the power switched off.
• Direct contact of the circuit board with water must be avoided at all times!
