3.1

Intended use

KTS 350 is a diagnostic device for use in the workshop
area in conjunction with the Bosch "ESI[tronic] 2.0"
diagnosis software.

KTS 350 may only be operated with the storage
battery of Robert Bosch GmbH (1 687 335 042,
Model: 2ICR18/65-2) and the power supply unit of
Elementech International Co. LTD. (Model No.: A160-
1120500M).

If the KTS 350 and the scope of delivery are
operated contrary to the way specified by the
manufacturer in the operating instructions, the
protection provided by the KTS 350 and the
supplied accessories may be compromised.

If ESI[tronic] 2.0 and BEA-PC DE (2017/1 and higher)
are installed on KTS 350, then it is always the case
that only one of the two programs can be opened.
This means that before BEA-PC can be started,
ESI[tronic] 2.0 must be closed (and vice-versa).

The installation of additional software on the KTS 350
may impair the performance of the KTS 350 system
and the KTS 350 may become slower in general.
!
The KTS 350 must not be exposed to sources of heat
(e.g. direct sunlight), impact, vibration, magnetic
fields, and excessive contamination.

Windows 10 IoT (64-bit).

KTS 350 is available as an Adobe pdf document at 'C:\
IA4KD\OPEN_SOURCE'.
3.3

Transport

The KTS 350 connecting cables must be removed for
transportation. Also, the KTS 350 should be transported
and stored in the case supplied. Furthermore, the DVD
drive should be stored and transported in its original
packaging in the case.

Device description

KTS 350 is a portable, location-independent diagnostic
device for the workshop area based on a tablet PC.
It is operated by means of a pen (for the LCD touch
screen) and a virtual keypad. The data and measured
values can be printed out by way of the USB port on an
external printer (special accessory). The KTS 350 and
the accessories are supplied in a protective case.
