● The sensor limit values for object or RC
units are stored permanently and cannot
be changed. Sensor limit values for comfort
units can be changed/set with the commis-
sioning software.
● The operating mode and ventilation level
set on an RLS 45 O or RLS 45 K apply to
all room air controls and ventilation units, as
does the External OFF function.
● Additional functions (intermittent ventila-
tion, sleep mode) only apply to the ventila-
tion units on the relevant room air control.
● The supply air function is only performed
by the ventilation units connected to the
respective room air control.
● Service mode: Mode intended for the
specialist installer to set and set up the unit
functions and to register wired sensors.
● Commissioning software (RLS 45 K):
The commissioning software can also be
used with the RLS 45 K control.
● If you have an odd number of units (3 or 5
ventilation units), the control ensures com-
pensation of volumetric flow between the
supply air and exhaust air units  Service

7.1 PP 45 O/K/RC

In heat recovery mode, the PP 45 ventilation
unit pairs switch alternately between supply
air and exhaust air mode every 60 seconds.
This ensures alternate ventilation and air
extraction.
In cross-ventilation mode (without heat reco-
very), the ventilation units work permanently
in one direction in supply air or exhaust air
mode.
If a humidity, CO or air quality sensor (VOC)

is connected to a room air control, demand-
driven automatic operation with sensor con-
trol can be manually activated. Depending on
the sensor values measured (H, CO
the volumetric flow of the units is gradually
adjusted. The set operating mode is retained.

7.2 PPB 30 O

The PPB 30 O unit is the ideal choice for an
exhaust air room (bathroom, WC, kitchen),
where the room is aerated and ventilated at
the same time.
In heat recovery mode, the two fans inside
the PPB 30 switch from exhaust air to supply
air mode or vice versa every 60 seconds.
The supply air is heated by the ceramic heat
exchanger using the recovered heat and ther-
mal energy is extracted from the exhaust air.
In cross-ventilation mode (without heat reco-
very), the ventilation units work permanently
in one direction in supply air or exhaust air mode.
If just one PPB 30 O unit is connected to the
RLS 45 O control, pure exhaust air mode
(press "Ventilation level" button for more than
2 sec.) is possible. In this case, the pressure
must be compensated via outside air open-
ings (ALDs). Both fans then switch to exhaust
air (no heat recovery).
