7.3 PPB 30 K/RC

The PPB 30 K unit works like the PPB 30 O
described above, but has the following addi-
tional functions:
● The PPB 30 K has an integrated humidity
sensor as standard. The internal sensor's
value is always used for the humidity
measurement. Measurements from other
sensors connected to the RLS 45 K are not
taken into account.
● For dehumidification mode, intensive venti-
lation (IL) or the exhaust air function (ABL)
can be set:
PPB 30 K  commissioning software
PPB 30 RC  service mode
● The PPB 30 K/RC has 2 operating modes
with different functionalities: Automatic
operation (regulation) or system operation
(exceeding of limit value).
The operating mode appropriate for your
PPB 30 K can be selected and set via the
commissioning software. For PPB 30 RC
the setting is made in service mode. For
more information  chapter 14.
7.4 Wired room air control RLS 45 O /
RLS 45 K
Combinations of RLS 45 O and
i
PPB 30 K are not permitted.
Each RLS 45 O can control up to 6 fans, for
example 6x PP 45 units or 3x PPB 30 O units.
A mixture of systems on one RLS 45 O
control is not permitted.
Each RLS 45 K can control up to 6 fans, for
example 6x PP 45, 3x PPB 30 O/K or a mix-
ture of PPB 30 K and PP 45 units.
All settings are undertaken and unit statuses
displayed on the RLS. RLS 45 K with com-
missioning software. PP 45 O, PP 45 K and
PPB 30 O are connected to connections Fan1
and Fan2. PPB 30 K are only connected with
RS 485 bus.

7.5 Radio system from PP 45 RC/
PPB 30 RC units
● Each PP 45 RC/PPB 30 RC ventilation unit
is equipped with a radio module.
● The RC units are operated with a DS 45 RC
radio switch. This can be simply glued to
the installation location on the wall.
● Alternatively, wired combination systems
with EnOcean module PP 45 EO can be
used. These are then operated using the
RLS 45 K control.
● The radio system can be extended with a
PP 45 Act 1-channel radio actuator for the
"Supply air for exhaust air units" function.

Master-slave operation
● With radio-controlled systems, associated
PP 45 unit pairs
work in master-slave mode.
● Slave units (RC ventilation units, radio
sensors, radio switches etc.) are learned-in
on the master unit. The master unit is then
responsible for the handling with the slave
unit  chapter 10.2.
● Only one slave unit can be assigned to
each master ventilation unit.
● Slave ventilation units are connected to the
master.
● Other components (radio sensors, radio
switches etc.) are only learned-in on the
master unit.

7.6 Service mode

Mode intended for the specialist installer
to set and set up the unit functions and to
register wired sensors  Commissioning
instructions.
The commissioning software can also be
used with the RLS 45 K control.
