2. Version glassware G4:
Slide screw coupling (2) over the junction flange.
Slide tension spring (3) over the junction flange.
Fasten junction to the drive (4) by tightening the coupling (2) hand-
tight.
Insert condenser in the upper receptacle of the junction.
3. Version glassware G5 (cooling water independent):
Slide screw coupling (2) over the cooling trap jacket flange.
Slide tension spring (3) over the cooling trap jacket flange.
Fasten cooling trap jacket to the drive by tightening the coupling hand-
tight.
Insert the seal into the sealing groove of the cooling trap.
Insert PTFE centring ring in the cooling trap and install the cooling trap
insert.
The vacuum causes the seal to be pressed into place and the system is
sealed hermetically by the inserted seal.
4. Version glassware G6 (condenser for reflux distillation):

Slide screw coupling (2) over the condenser flange.
Slide tension spring (3) over the condenser flange.
Fasten the screw coupling G6 (6) on the drive head (Fig. 4-8 (5)).
Insert connector part G6 (5) with the seal G6 (4) in the screw
coupling G6 (6).
Fasten junction (1) to the screw coupling G6 (6) using the screw
coupling (2).
Insert condenser in the upper receptacle of the junction (1).
