Toll-free remote pre-access facility

Using the toll-free remote pre-access facility, you can find out whether there are any messages
on your answering machine without incurring any charges.
To do this, set the function "Delaying acceptance of calls" to the setting "Sparer". For more
information see Chapter 8.1.4.
If you now call your answering machine when you are away, the answering machine will answer
as follows:
A. If your call is answered after 2 rings, there will be messages on your answering machine.
B. If no messages have been recorded, your call will not be answered after 2 rings. Put the
receiver down immediately as your call will now only be answered after the sixth ring. In this
way, you can save call charges.
