3.6 Connecting an expansion tank (provided by customer)

Expansion tanks absorb the changes in volume when the heat
transfer medium is heated or cooled and store a fluid reserve
to compensate for a low leak rate.
Only suitable and properly designed expansion tanks must be
used. In-line vessels may be used at suitable existing temperatures.
The membrane expansion tank connection is located on the
suction side, i.e. underneath the pump (cf. Technical data).

3.7 Heat transfer medium

Only use suitable and approved solar fluid with antifreeze that is intended for solar energy systems. Note the manufacturer and type, because,
under certain circumstances, the solar fluid should not be mixed with agents from other manufacturers.
