3. Installation
3.1 Wall mounting
The system must be installed on a load-bearing, dry wall. The chosen clearance to the collectors must ensure that the station and expansi-
on tank cannot overheat (install in-line vessels, if necessary). Hazards caused by neighbouring building components, electrical, gas, water,
or heating pipes must be prevented. Access to the station, safety fi ttings, and the connecting cables must be ensured.
1. Select the installation location
2. Align and mark the boreholes using the lower insulation shell
3. Drill boreholes and insert rawlplugs
4. Screw the station onto the lower insulation shell
5. Establish the piping network connection while
3.2 Shut-off valves
Caution:
Shut-off valves must always be open and secured against unintentional closure. Safety valves must be operated only by trained specialist
personnel! For the operation o the system, the ball valves must be fully open. The shut-off valves are equipped with integral, manually ad-
justable non-return valves. The fl ow direction or position is marked by a chamfered side on the spindle (see illustration). It indicates the fl ow
direction (see illustration). If the fl ow direction is not observed, the non-return valve can act against the intended fl ow direction and block the
fl ow. Please fi nd the description of the positions of the ball valve handle in the following illustration.
