3. Installation

Ball valve position and operating mode:
1 Position 0°; ball valve open, non-return valve active
2 position 45°; ball valve open, non-return valve inactive
3 position 90°; ball valve closed
Notes: The position 2 can be used for fl ushing, bleeding and draining. The handle parts with thermometer can be demounted and should
be aligned in accordance with the operating modes (pos. 1 to pos. 3).
Pay attention to the fl ow direction, i.e. fl ow (VL) with a red scale and return fl ow (RL) with a blue scale. If it is a one-line version, only one
ball valve with thermometer will be installed.
Lower shut-off valve:
The lower shut-off valve is integrated in the small distributor
on which the connection of the membrane expansion tank and
a fi lling/emptying tap are located. In position 1 to 2 (see fi gure),
the shut-off valve operates as a volume fl ow limiter..
Spindle position:
1 Closed (fl ushing)
2 Open
3 Closed (pump replacement)
