1. If the release mechanism A has to be replaced: Loosen
nut B.
2. Remove circlip C.
3. Remove bolt D (If the entire gas spring is to be
replaced, also remove the upper circlip and bolt and
remove the gas spring E.)
If necessary, push the backrest slightly forwards
to make it easier to remove the bolt.
4. If the release mechanism has to be replaced: Turn down
the release mechanism A from the threaded piece F.
