9.6 Stopping the engine

9.6.1 Petrol engine
To stop the engine, move the throttle (control lever) or turn the knob to the OFF

position.
• The machine can also be switched OFF by moving the emergency stop lever
backwards.
• If fitted, close the fuel shut-off valve.
9.6.2 Electric motor
• The motor is switched off again using the red button.
• When the motor has cut out due to overloading, simply repeat the start up
procedure. However, clear the shredding chamber first (read Chapter 6.3).
