* This machine may only be operated by persons who are in a good physical condition.
If the operator becomes tired whilst working with the machine, he should take a break
in good time. The machine should not be used by persons who have consumed
alcohol.
* Suitable clothing must be worn whilst working with this machine. This means clothing
which covers the whole of the body, strong gloves and closed shoes with anti-slip
soles and preferably steel toecaps.
* Clothing must never be worn loose (a scarf, for instance, is definitely not allowed). If
the operator has long hair, he must tie it back in a ponytail and wear a cap or
headband to hold it together.
Caution:
For protection of eyes and ears, ELIET recommends ear defenders and safety
glasses. These are supplied as standard with the machine.
* Never work in conditions where the light intensity is less than 500 Lux.
* Do not allow third parties to enter the danger zone which extends up to 5 m around
the machine while the machine is working.
* When leaving the machine, the engine must be switched off.
* When parts are to be replaced as a result of wear or failure, always contact your ELIET
dealer for orginal ELIET spare parts. This is important in the interest of your own safety.
* For a machine equipped with an electric motor, the following guidelines must be
observed.
The machine may only be connected to an earthed circuit.
The circuit must be protected by a RCD (Residual Current Device) with a minimum
sensitivity of 30 mA.
If connection is to be made to a socket which is located outside, this socket must
conform to IP65.
The machine must not be operated during rainy weather.
* Use the machine in an environmentally friendly way:
Do not leave the machine on when it is not being used.
Do not waste petrol during refuelling.
Service the motor on a regular basis in order to maintain constant combustion.
