7.2. Fuse Replacement
WARNING!
To avoid electric shock, disconnect all the test probes before removing
the fuse. Replace only with the same type of fuse. Not note remove the
top cover. Service should be performed only by qualified personnel.
If a fuse replacement is necessary, follow these steps to replace the
fuse:
1.
Turn the meter off and disconnect all connected test probes.
2.
Loose the two screws at the battery compartment on the back of
the case and remove the 9V-battery
3.
Remove the back cover by unscrewing the four screws of the
housing and remove the rear housing part.
4.
Remove the blown fuse and replace it with a fuse of the same
type and dimensions.
- 0,2 A/600 V; 5 x 20mm
- 10 A/600 V; 5 x 20mm
5.
Replace the cover and secure it with the screws.
WARNING!
Do not operate your meter until the back cover is in place and fully
closed.
