14.4.3 Threading

The pitches are set using the appropriate table for metric and inch thread.

The lock nut is engaged to the lead screw
with the shift lever (21) and the thread feed
is in operation.
NOTE: The lock nut should remain locked during thread cutting.

14.4.4 Tread cycle

The Thread dial located on the right side of the lock case and is used for threading.
With the lock nut of the threading can use the shift lever (21) be brought back to the exact
position to intersect with the thread turning tool exactly at the start point on.
NOTE: In order to keep the wear minimal, the threading should be set back after use.
