Enter the sensor ID:
Usethearrowbuttonstonavigate.Pressthe
enter key to enter the ID. (confirm each in-
dividual digit with the enter key).To finish,
selectthe"Return"symbolontherightofthe
screentoprogramthemanuallyenteredID.
Please note:
1. The AirGuard will automatically skip
to the "Return" icon if the maximum
number of digits for a sensor ID has
been reached for the selected vehicle.
2. The Herth+Buss wheel sensor must
always be placed in the sensor compart-
ment for this function.
TIP
PleasecheckwhethertheIDofthe
OE sensorishexadecimal(0–9+A–F)
ordecimal(0–9)sothatyouselectthe
rightmodewhenduplicatingmanually.
Youmaybeaskedbeforeentry.We
recommend setting the ID format to
"automatic" in the settings menu. See
point7forhowtocheckthis.

4.4 Generating an unused sensor
Withthisfunction,youcanprogramanun-
used sensor in OE format for vehicles that
support automatic reteaching.
Please note:
The programming function only works
with the Herth+Buss wheel sensor.
Other sensors cannot be written.
