4.2 Automatically duplicating
an OE sensor
Thisfunctionwasdevelopedtoallowyouto
avoid the teaching process for new sensor
IDsviaOBDII.
Please note:
The duplication and programming
function only works with the
Herth+Buss wheel sensor. This must
be locked in the sensor compartment.
Other sensors cannot be written.
Perform the steps described in 4.1.
Function selection:
Use the arrow buttons to select AUTO DU-
PLICATEandpresstheenterkeytoselect.

ID search process:
TheAirGuardwillnowsearchforthesensor
IDoftheOEsensor. T hesensorreactiontime
may vary according to manufacturer and
sensor type. A successful read-out is con-
firmedwithabeep.
Duplicating the sensor:
The AirGuard will show the ID of the OE
sensor. Place a Herth+Buss wheel sensor
in the sensor compartment and lock into
place. Press the enter key to program the
Herth+Buss wheel sensor.
Please note:
1. As soon as you have called up the
sensor ID, press the enter button to
program the new sensor directly. Pres-
sing the BACK button deletes the sensor
ID and the diagnosis must be repeated.
2. The Herth+Buss wheel sensor must
always be placed in the sensor compart-
ment for this function.
