8.1 Installing the PC software

1. D ownloadandsavethesoftware(approx.
90 MB). Download the latest version of
the software at www.herthundbuss.com/
AirGuard.
2. U npackthezipfolderanddoubleclickon
"setup.exe" to start.
3. F ollowtheinstructionsinthe"InstallShield
Wizard"andthenclick"Install".

8.2 Updating the device firmware

Please note: This requires your
serial number (S/N).
1.  T he serial number for your programming
device can be found in the "Settings"
menu. From the manufacturer selection
screen,pressthe"Settings" button to ac-
cess the settings menu.
2. P ressthearrowbuttons(up/down)
untilyoureachthe"Serial #" menu item.

3. E nter the displayed serial number in the
corresponding box.
4. F ill out the whole form and tick the data
protectionpolicybox.
5. C lick "Send" and then "Save file"/"Save
file as".Makeanoteofthesavelocation.
