Safety Information on Océ VarioStream 7100
This safety information on the Océ VarioStream 7100 printing system will
provide you with an overview of the safety-related guidelines that must be
observed during operation.
This safety information should always be kept near the printing system.
Reading this safety information does not eliminate the need to observe all the
information and instructions in the user guide and the Help.
Please also observe the safety directives in the documentation for any
pre-processing and post-processing devices that may be connected.
Intended Purpose
The printing system is intended solely for printing materials that comply with the
Océ paper specification. It may only be operated using the recommended
consumables and under the prescribed operating conditions.
Any use for other purposes is regarded as improper. The manufacturer is not
liable for any damage resulting from improper use. The user alone bears the risk
in this case. The printing system shall only be considered as being used for its
intended purpose if the information and instructions in this documentation are
strictly observed.
Operating Personnel
The printing system must only be operated by trained operators and Océ Service
personnel.
Do not wear loosely hanging items of clothing. Long hair should be protected.
Never look directly into an optical fiber cable or optical fiber cable connection.
Laser beams from the cable can injure your eyes.
Do not smoke or use open flames.
User Guide/Help
Every printing system is supplied with a user guide. The purpose of the user
guide is to ensure that all work on and with the printing system is performed
safely and correctly. It must be complete and in a readable condition. The user
guide contains safety information that must be strictly observed.
In addition to the user guide, a Help is also available on the operator panel of the
printing system. The Help is updated for each new version of the operator panel.
