8. Notes on PA BXT, PA DRL test adapters

The test adapters have left the factory in correct condition. In order to maintain this condition and
to ensure safe operation, the user has to observe all notes and warnings on the adapter and in the
operating instructions for the PM 20 SPD tester.

9. Maintenance and care

The tester is cleaned using a water moistened tissue. When opening covers or removing components,
live parts might be uncovered unless they can be opened manually (battery compartment).
Connectors may also be energised.
The device has to be disconnected from an voltage sources, if it has to be opened before adjustments,
maintenance, repair or replacement of parts (also battery).
Capacitors in the device might still be charged, even if the device has been disconnected from all
voltage supply sources.
In order to maintain the faultless condition of the device, it is recommended to inspect and calibrate
