Protective device of DRL 1 ... type
When testing protective devices of the DRL 1 ... type, only the upper slot may be used, which is

labelled DRL on the right-hand side.
If DRL 1 ... protective devices are to be tested, the EF 10 DRL earthing frame has to be plugged

into the slot (included in the scope of delivery). Make sure it is connected the right was round [IN/
OUT]. The protective device is plugged into the relevant contact of the earthing bracket of the
earthing frame. The EF 10 DRL earthing frame allows to test up to ten protective devices of DRL
1 ... type at the same time. Test circuits 1 to 10 are connected by means of the test circuit selector
switch. The relevant test programmes have to be performed for each test circuit (see page 23).
6.2.3
If the Test button is briefly pressed, measurement is started. Finally, the measurement result is sa-
ved automatically in the display and the test voltage is switched off. The results of all measurements
for a protective module have to be ≥ the lower limit value (LLV [V]) and ≤ the upper limit
value (ULV [V]) (see the relevant evaluation table).
