Press the „E" key several times in order to display the sequence of basic settings.
You can exit the „Grundeinstellungen vornehmen (perform basic settings)" mode with the „C" key. You will automatically get back to the standard
operation mode.
3.2
Changing the language
Select „Sprache (language)" with the „E" key in the display as described in chapter 3.1. Switch between the languages with "NEW" until the desired
language is shown in the display. It is possible to choose between German, English, French, Italian and Spanish. Confirm the language selected by
pressing the „E" key or exit the program with the „C" key without making any changes.
3.3
Configuration of the program selection keys 1-9
Select the basic setting of the program to be configured with the „E" key as described in chapter 3.1. If, e.g., you would like to change the setting of
program key 4, press the enter key („E") until „P4" is shown at the bottom of the display. Press the „NEW" key to change the configuration of the
program key.
The cursor is now directly in the input field for the program name. The letter at the cursor position can be changed now with the keys 2 and 8. The
keys 4 and 6 will move the cursor within the input field.
Complete the entry of the program name with the „E" key. The cursor will automatically return to the input field for the temperature (T) of the
respective program.
Accept the preadjusted temperature value by pressing the enter key or enter a new value with the numerical block of the key pad.
The respective speed (D) and further fusion time (W) for the program key can be entered in the same way.
Changes within an input field can be cancelled with the „C" key. The „NEW" key will move the cursor to the beginning of the input field.
Complete the entry of the program with the „E" key. The data are stored and the next setting is displayed.
3.4
Activating and deactivating the acoustic signal
Select the setting for the acoustic signal with the enter key „E" as described in chapter 3.1. Activate or deactivate the acoustic signal with „NEW".
When the acoustic signal is deactivated, no acoustic messages will be issued. Warning signals cannot be suppressed.
Confirm by pressing the „E" key or exit the program part with the „C" key without making any changes.

Changing date and time
Select the setting for date and time with the enter key „E" as described in chapter 3.1. Press „NEW" to change date and time.
Use the numerical keys to enter the date in the form of DD.MM.YY, e.g. 040504 for May 4, 2004. After entering the last figure the cursor will
automatically return to the input field for the time.
The time is also entered with the numerical keys in the form of HH.MM, e.g. 1245 for 12:45.
Changes within an input field can be cancelled with the „C" key. The "NEW" key will move the cursor to the beginning of the input field.
Complete the entry of date and time with the enter key „E". Date and time are changed and the next setting is displayed.
3.6
Changing the laboratory name
The laboratory name is only displayed in the casting protocol of a connected printer. It is only useful to enter the laboratory name if a documentation
printer is used.
In order to enter the laboratory name, select the setting for the laboratory name with the enter key „E" as described in chapter 3.1. Press „NEW" to
change the laboratory name.
The letter at the cursor position can be changed now with the keys 2 and 8. The keys 4 and 6 will move the cursor within the input field.
Complete the entry of the laboratory name with the enter key „E". Changes within the input field can be cancelled with the "C" key.
