Increasing the range
The range of the handset can be increased by placing additional base
stations in specific areas of the building or workplace.
1. Position the base stations so that the ranges of the individual base
stations overlap (refer to diagram). If necessary, test the range of
your handsets. Obstacles in buildings, such as walls and ceilings,
can restrict the range considerably.
2. Register your handset on all base stations used (refer to Chapter
11.1).
3. If you currently have a call in Area 3, this call cannot be
transferred to another base station in the Areas 1, 2 or 4.
