Troubleshooting

Should problems arise with the telephone, refer to the following information. In
the case of claims under the terms of guarantee, contact your sales outlet.
Faults
No connection to base station

No telephone calls possible

- Troubleshooting -
Corrective measures
- Check that the handset has been regi
stered on the base station with the
correct PIN code.
- The telephone line is not connected
properly or is defective. Only use the
telephone connection cable supplied.
- Test whether the telephone connection
is in order by using another telephone.
- The power adaptor plug is not plugged
in or there is a complete power failure.
- The rechargeable standard batteries
are empty or defective.
- The handset is too far from the base
station.
- The handset is too far from the base
station.
- The base station is in an unsuitable
location.
- Dialling mode set incorrectly (refer to
Chapter 9.5).
- Disconnect the power adapter plug
briefly from the power socket.
- Place the handset correctly in the
base station, clean the contact surfa
ces on the handset and the base sta
tion with a soft, dry cloth.
