2. Set the rotary function switch (2) to the desired AC voltage
measurement range 200 V~ respectively 250 V~. If the magni-
tude of the voltage to be measured is not known beforehand,
select the higher range first and then select the lower range
until satisfactory results are obtained.
3. Connect the test leads across the device under test.
4. The measured value is shown on the display.

8. Resistance Measurements

Before starting to measure resistance observe the following basic
rules:
 Never connect the measuring probes of the meter to a power
source if you have selected the Ω measuring range. This will
damage the meter.
 To avoid damages to the meter or to the devices under test
and to avoid false readings, disconnect circuit power and
discharge all high-voltage capacitors before measuring re-
sistance.
1. Connect the black test lead to the COM jack (5) and the red
test lead to the VΩmA
2. Set the rotary function/range switch (2) to the desired Ω range.
3. Connect the test leads across the load to be measured.
4. Read the reading on the display.
