f) Stopping the model

• Stop the model or brake until the model has stopped.
• Switch the model off.
• Separate the rechargeable battery from the drive control and/or the power supply from the receiver.
• Now you may turn off the transmitter. Otherwise, the model may show unpredictable reactions. Danger of injuries!


11. Change of crystal

In order to avoid a double channel assignment it may be necessary to change the crystals on your remote control
system. For this purpose, proceed as follows:
• For reasons of operational safety, you should only use crystals that are explicitly recommended for the use of your
remote control system by the supplier.
• Turn the model off and disconnect the rechargeable battery from the drive control and/or the power supply from the
receiver.
• Switch off the transmitter.
• Switch off the transmitter and remove the holder (ill. 1, pos. 5) for the crystal from the transmitter housing.
• Take the crystal out of its plastic holder.
• Exchange the crystal for another one using the same frequency band. Please make sure that you place the right
crystal in the holder. Transmitter crystals are normally marked with the letters T or TX (T = "transmitter").
• Put the crystal holder back into the transmitter.
• Pull the receiver quartz out of the receiver while the receiver is turned off.
• The suitable crystal for the receiver has to be marked with the same channel number as the transmitter crystal. In
addition, the letter codes "R" or "RX" (R = receiver) are indicated.
• Insert the replacement crystal with the suitable frequency for the transmitter into the receiver.
• Next, switch on the transmitter and then the model and check the function of the remote control system.
