8. Transmitter controls

1 Remote control/transmitter
2 Rotating wheel for steering
3 Trim control for steering
Use this trim control to set the straightforward
motion of the vehicle. Adjust the front wheels of
the stationary vehicle in such a way that they are
just about straight (in case of ship models, the
rudder). The exact setting of the directional
stability is carried out later when driving the
vehicle.
4 Trim control for neutral position of the drive
To ensure that the vehicle stops when letting go
of the lever (6), you can set the exact neutral
position with this trim control.
5 Exchangeable crystal
A crystal with the same frequency must be
inserted in the transmitter and in the receiver.
The transmitter crystals are generally labelled "T"
or "TX", the receiver crystals are marked "R" or
"RX" . Do not mix up the two crystals!

7 Support base with battery compartment
Insert 8 batteries type AA/mignon here or 8 rechargeable batteries (observe the correct polarity!). The polarity for
plus/+ and minus/- is marked on the battery compartment.
8 Slide switch "TH.REV" for reverse (throttle/drive)
Use this to reverse the reaction of the drive (forwards/backwards) to the operation of the lever (6).
9 Charging socket
If this socket is featured on your vehicle, you can charge rechargeable batteries in the remote control. Do not use
any quick chargers for this, as these damage the conductors in the remote control.
If there is no imprint next to the charge socket indicating the maximum charge current, we recommend applying a
maximum charge current of 250mA.
Never charge common batteries! There is a danger of fire and explosion!
10 Power LED; is lit when the transmitter is on or flashes if the battery/rechargeable battery voltage is too low
