9. To Check before each Start

a) Checking the Connections
Check all screws for tightness before transport and flights. Vibration during transport and flight may cause screws to
loosen. Due to this, you need to conduct a thorough pre-flight check just as for a real helicopter.
Generally, all screw connections (metal in metal) must be secured against loosening with a drop of threadlocker.

b) Checking Movable Parts

Always check all movable parts and all parts with
bearings for unobstructed movement before fly-
ing. They must be easy to move, but without play.
Regularly apply some oil to the swash plate slid-
ing sleeve (figure 12a, items 1 and 2) and the tail
rotor control bushing (figure 12b, item 3) so that
parts can be easily moved on the shaft .
Only use non-resinating oil. This can be special
oil for flight models or sewing machine oil.
