7. Installation

A mounting base is available optionally.
Find a suitable place for mounting from which the area to be monitored can be
observed.
A suitable place for installation of this camera has the following features:
• Vibration-free
• No direct sunlight
• Dry indoor conditions
All connection cables must not be bent nor pinched. This could
result in malfunctions, short circuits and defects in the device.
Therefore, it may be necessary to draw the cable for the video
signal and the connection cable through the ceiling at the back.
When drilling holes in the wall or screwing down on it, be careful
not to damage any cables or pipes.
The camera is only suitable for dry indoor use.
When selecting a place to set up the device, avoid direct,
intense sunlight, vibration and dust. The device must not be set
up in the vicinity of other devices with strong magnetic fields.
No devices with strong electric fields such as e.g. mobile
phones, radio devices, electric engines etc. must be in the prox-
imity of the camera. These could negatively influence the pic-
ture quality.
Direct sunlight or bright lighting etc. could influence the camera
image appreciably and make it difficult to observe the picture.
Observe this in selecting the place for set-up.
