13. Maintenance and cleaning

Servicing or repair may only be carried out by a specialist/specialist workshop. There are no
components on the inside of the product that need maintenance by you, this is why you should
never open it (apart from the described approach to insert or change the battery, in these
instructions).
To clean the outside of the product, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient.

Do not press too hard on the display, as this may cause scratch marks or lead
to faulty displays.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents, alcohol or other chemical solutions as
the surface of the housing could be damaged (discolouration).
If required, clean the lens. Use a suitable lens cleaner, e.g. a soft clean brush. Do not press
too hard on the lens/mechanics of the camera as this will damage it and may also leave
scratches on the lens.
