14. Handling

Take note of all the safety instructions in these operating instructions!
The product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children. It contains small
swallowable small parts, glass (display), as well as batteries.
The product must not be opened or taken apart (except for inserting/replacing the batteries as
described in these operating instructions).
None of the components inside the product is to be maintained by the user. If opened of taken
apart, the CE approval as well as the warranty/guarantee will be void.
Do not drop the product even from a low height as this might damage it.
Do not expose the product to the following unfavourable ambient conditions during operation:
- extreme cold or heat
- wetness or dampness
- direct sunlight
- Dust or combustible gases, vapours or solvents
- Strong vibrations
Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold into a warm room.
Condensation that forms might destroy your device. The power pack also involves the risk of
a mortal electric shock!
Wait until the product has reached room temperature. This may take several hours.
During operation make sure that no cables are pinched or caught.
Make sure the insulation of the whole product is neither damaged nor destroyed. Check the
product for damage before each use!
If you notice any damages, the product must NOT be used. Damages to the power pack may
cause a fatal electric shock!
If this is the case, bring the product to a specialised workshop and do not use it anymore.
