Carefully turn the objective
(5) to set the focus. Then
you screw the camera back
into the smoke detector
case.
Make
sure
when
replacing into the
smoke
detector's
case, that the objective is pointing out of the ope-
ning of the case.
You can achieve a slight change in the horizontal view
angle by turning the objective mount. For this you undo
screw (4) and adjust the picture according to your
requirements. If the corresponding image is displayed,
tighten screw (4) again.

No devices with strong magnetic fields must be located
near the camera.
No device with strong electrical fields should be near
the camera e.g., mobile phones, radio equipment, elec-
trical motors, etc.
These can have a negative effect on the quality of
the image.
Direct sunlight and/or bright illumination, etc. can also
impair the quality of the camera picture and can make
the observation of the image difficult.
Please pay attention to this fact when choosing
the point of installation.
Look for a suitable place for the camera, for the area
that is supposed to be observed.
The camera is designed to be installed on ceilings.
Before final installation, it is recommended to
connect the camera and watch the corresponding
camera image on the monitor/TV, to see whether
the area to be observed is displayed. In order to
do that, you have to follow the instructions under
Connection and Set Up (next chapter).
