La technologie de réception RDS
Le sigle RDS signifi e système de données radio, c'est-à-dire que des informations supplémentaires imperceptibles
et codées sont émises par l'émetteur UKW RDS Votre syntoniseur CD-3994 est capable d'exploiter ces données
codées qui sont émises par presque toutes les stations radio.
Les informations supplémentaires suivantes de base sont transmises :
- Identifi cation du programme (PI)
- Identifi cation de programmes avec annonces de trafi c routier (TP)
- Identifi cation d'annonces routières (TA)
- Nom du programme (PS)
- Fréquences alternatives (AF)
- Type de programme (PTY)
- Informations EON (EON)
- Heure (CT)
Identifi cation du programme (PI)
Ces données aident à l'identifi cation non équivoque d'une station. Elles permettent à la radio d'identifi er les zones
dans lesquelles est émis le même programme. Dès qu'elle reçoit des signaux faibles, l'autoradio s'accorde sur une
station plus forte émettant la même identifi cation de programme.
Identifi cation de programmes avec annonces de trafi c routier (TP)
Ce signal indique au récepteur la réception d'une station diffusant des informations sur le trafi c routier.
Identifi cation d'annonces routières (TA)
Ce signal indique la diffusion d'une annonce routière et permet, le cas échéant, d'interrompre la lecture actuelle
d'une autre source.
Nom du programme (PS)
Cette information indique au récepteur la station qu'il est en train de recevoir. Elle est directement affi chée sur
l'écran de l'autoradio, par ex. ADO FM.

A) Connecting of the Loudspeakers and the Power Supply

The CD tuner has an ISO system plug.
Vehicles equipped with such a system plug can be connected directly to the system if the plug assignment is the
same (please check beforehand!). If the assignment differs, please connect the CD tuner to an adapter.
Please refer to the following illustrations for the contact assignment of the CD tuner socket.
Please ask you car dealer for the respective assignment of your vehicle system plug.

• The terminal of the continuous current +12V (4) must be connected to the line which supplies 12V permanently,
even if the ignition is off (terminal 30 of the on-board networks). This connection serves for the storage of the
user settings, the time etc.
• The aerial control output (5) supplies a voltage of +12V when the device is switched on. This cable can be used
for the power supply of an electrical aerial, and for the voltage for switching on a vehicle amplifi er.
• The terminal of the ignition +12V (7) must be connected to a cable that is only live with +12V when the ignition is
on (terminal 15 of the on-board networks).
Do not connect this terminal to continuous current, otherwise the on-board battery could be discharged when the
vehicle is parked for a longer period of time.
• Connect the ground connection (8) with the vehicle body.
Adhesive techniques which become ever more common and painted metal parts impair the electric
conductivity. Therefore not every metal part is a suitable grounding point.
