2. Intended use

● EZQ/DZQ/EZS/DZS are wall-mounted
fans for domestic-type and commercial
use.
● The fans are used for air extraction or
ventilation in production areas, commercial
premises, garages, warehouses,
showrooms, production sites, industrial
buildings, compressor/transformer rooms
or other commercial premises.
● Operation is only permitted:
● with permanently routed electrical supply
line.
● in walls, on ceilings or on brackets with
sufficient load-bearing capacity.
● if unit is completely installed.
● With free air intake or discharge, operation
is only permitted with protection against
accidental contact according to EN ISO
13857, for example with a Maico protect-
tive grille SG.
3. Safety instructions and
warnings

wing situations under any circumstances.

vicinity of the fan. Do not place any
flammable materials, liquids or gases near
the fan, which may ignite in the event of heat
or sparks and catch fire.
Steam-saturated or greasy air or
solid particles which may stick to the
fan, can soil the fan and reduce the
efficiency. Never use fan to convey these
substances. Explosive gases and dusts may
ignite and cause serious explosions or fire.
Never use fan unit in an explosive atmos-
phere (risk of explosion).
