NOTE
Please read the instructions carefully before in-
stalling and using for the first time.
Follow the instructions.
Pass these instructions on to the owner for safe-
keeping.
These instructions contain important information
regarding retrofit installations and for exchanging
the PTC supplementary heat register.

Required qualifications for installation work
The supplementary heat register may only be in-
stalled by qualified electricians in accordance with
the applicable electrical engineering regulations
(EN 50110-1, EN 60204-1 etc.). Observe safety
regulations → following safety information and
WS 75 final mounting instructions with safety in-
formation supplement.
Requirements for specialist installers: Specialist
training and knowledge of technical standards,
EU Directives and EU Ordinances. Observe ap-
plicable accident prevention requirements. Ob-
serve occupational health and safety measures:
protective clothing in good repair etc.

2 Scope of delivery

PTC supplementary heat register including con-
necting cable, 2 plastic locking pins and these in-
stallation instructions.

3 Intended use

Electric PTC supplementary heat register for WS
75 Powerbox S and H ventilation units with heat
recovery.

4 Safety information

WARNING Danger of electric shock.
Before working on the control, shut down all sup-
ply circuits (deactivate the mains fuse) and se-
cure so they cannot be switched back on. Attach
a clearly visible warning sign.
CAUTION Risk of burning from hot hous-
ing parts on units with PTC heat register.
After removing the front cover, do not touch the
heat register. First wait until the heat register and
the housing parts have cooled off.
CAUTION Risk of injury when fans are
running.
Before removing the front cover of the ventilation
unit, wait until the fans have stopped.
CAUTION when handling packaging ma-
terials.
Observe applicable safety and accident preven-
tion regulations.
Store packaging material out of the reach of chil-
dren (risk of suffocation due to swallowing).
Also read the safety information in the in-
stallation instructions for the ventilation unit
before installing the supplementary heat re-
gister. Follow the instructions.
