8. Commissioning

a) Insert micro SD card
The product stores the video and audio data onto a micro SD card.
Use a micro SD card that is intended purely for recording with this product. If you use this micro
SD card with different devices, data can become deleted or damaged.
Proceed as follows:
Slide the micro SD card with the contacts, as
shown on the product, into the micro SD card
slot (4) until it engages.
Note the capacity of your micro
SD card. A full micro SD card
cannot store data. If you switch on the product without a micro SD card inserted,
all LEDs will fl ash and a signal tone will be heard.

b) Rechargeable battery, charged via USB

The USB connection cable and an appropriate USB port enables this product to be charged
via a computer.
Proceed as follows:
• Insert the narrow side of the USB connection
cable into the mini USB port (5).
• Connect the wide side of the USB connection
cable to your computer or your laptop.
The status LED (9) starts to fl ash red. This indi-
cates that your product is being charged.
Make sure you select an appropriate USB port (500mA). Fully charge the bat-
tery. This can take up to 150 minutes.
As soon as the battery is fully charged, the status LED (9) goes out.
