e) Viewing recordings
In order to view the recorded video and audio data, connect the product to a computer.
Proceed as follows to connect:
• Insert the narrow side of the USB connection
cable into the mini USB port (5).
• Connect the wide side of the USB connection
cable to your computer.
Once the computer has detected the product as
a mass memory, you can view the recordings
using a suitable program (e.g. media player).
Depending on the operating
system, you may have to adapt the settings to your computer (e.g. assign/en-
able drive letters). For more information see the Help function for your operating
system. Observe the procedure specifi ed for your particular operating system
when disconnecting the product from the computer.
The storage format for recordings is AVI. If your computer cannot play back the recordings, you
may need to install a help fi le (Xvid -1.1.3-28062007.exe). Information on downloading and
installing can be found on the Internet, e.g. at 'www.Divx.com/divix/windows/download'.
