c) Procedure for Programming
• Switch on the transmitter. Pull the throttle lever into the full throttle position and hold it there.
• Connect the drive battery to the speed controller (the throttle lever is still in the „full throttle" position). There will be
two brief beeps and then three times two long beeps in sequence. The throttle lever still has to be held in the full
throttle position!
• After the described beeps, the speed controller has entered programming mode.
Six different functions (see table in the beginning of chapter 11) can be selected. These functions are repeated in an
endless loop.
The first function is provided for selection with one beep. The beep is repeated three times in sequence. Then the
speed controller switches to the second function (2 beep, repeated thrice) etc. to the sixth function, to then start with
the first function again. The functions available can be taken from the table at the beginning of chapter 11.
• When the beeps signal the function to you want to programmed is (e.g. 2 beeps for programming the control path),
move the throttle lever at your transmitter to the neutral position (motor off). The respective function is then selected.
• There are several setting options for each function (see table). These setting options are indicated with beeps again.
Each setting is acoustically reported by repeating the assigned signal sequence (number of beeps) three times
(another endless loop). The number of beeps that cause a function change can be taken from the table at the
beginning of chapter 11.
• When the correct setting is signalled by beeps, put the throttle lever into the full throttle position when saving these
settings. The lever must be kept in this position until the speed controller confirms successful programming by a
beep.
If you want to make additional settings, continue to keep the throttle lever in the full throttle position. Then the
following programme point is indicated.
• If you want to cancel programming, put the throttle lever to the minimum positing (motor off). Then the following
menu item is indicated (beeps). Continue to keep the throttle lever in the minimum position until the confirmation
sound for initialisation (2 beeps) can be heard. Now the speed controller can be used with the newly programmed
settings.
