Note on function 4, control characteristics for throttle function:
The setting „Rotational direction standard" or „Rotational direction reverse" changes the motor rotational direction
electronically.
Additionally, the functions „Undervoltage soft" and „Undervoltage hard" can be used to determine what is to happen
when the LiPo battery is flat. Programme „Undervoltage soft" for the speed controller to strongly reduce the rotating
speed when the undervoltage threshold is reached. Limited operation is still possible (e.g. driving the boat ashore).
However, if you programme „Undervoltage hard", the motor is shut down completely when the undervoltage threshold
is reached!
The settings „Undervoltage soft" and „Undervoltage hard" can be additionally programmed as another submenu of the
programming item „control path for throttle function". First select the programme point „control characteristics throttle"
and complete programming of the rotating direction. At repeated selection of function 4, you may programme the
settings „Undervoltage soft" or „Undervoltage hard".
Note on function 5, motor pin number:
The settings of a brushless motor are determined by the number of pins, among others. Motors with a low number of
pins are e.g., motors with a high rotating speed but comparably low torque.
To set this function, you need comprehensive knowledge as well as control measurements of current, rotating speed
and temperature. Therefore, we recommend that the factory settings be left as they are or the function „Automatic" be
picked. Non-observation of this may lead to damage to the motor and/or speed controller. Loss of guarantee/warranty!
Note on function 6, speed controller cycle frequency:
The settings of a speed controller are determined among others by the cycle frequency as well. Speed controllers with
high cycle frequency are suitable, e.g., for very high-speed rotating low-Ohmic motors. To set this function, you need
comprehensive knowledge as well as control measurements of current, rotating speed and temperature. Therefore,
we recommend that the factory settings be left as they are or the function „Automatic" be picked. Non-observation of
this may lead to damage to the motor and/or speed controller. Loss of guarantee/warranty!

b) Programming the Neutral Position

• Switch on the transmitter. Pull the throttle lever into the full throttle position and hold it there.
• Connect the drive battery to the speed controller (the throttle lever still has to be in „full throttle" position!). There will
be two brief beeps and then three times two long beeps in sequence.
• Push the throttle lever into the opposite direction (full reverse/brake) at once after the third sequence)and hold it
there. For pistol grip remote controls, you may also leave the throttle lever in the centre position.
There will be a single beep followed by a double beep. This shows successful programming of the neutral position.
You may disconnect the driving battery from the speed controller again now or start to drive.
