b) Installing the Receiver Aerial

According to the remote control system used (27/40 MHz or 2.4 GHz), you need to install the receiver in the boat body
according to the information in the operating instructions.
Modern remote control systems in 2.4 GHz technology only require short aerials at the transmitter and
receiver for secure operation. Only the few centimetres without insulation are the receiver aerial. The remaining
part of the aerial cable serves as supply/extension so that you can pull an aerial from a body. For secure
reception, it is perfectly sufficient if the last three centimetres of the receiver aerial in the body are placed
vertically in the body, e.g. with a short piece of Bowden tube glued into the body.
If you use a 27 or 40 MHz-remote control, the receiver aerial must be guided vertically up from the boat body
with a Bowden tube of a sufficient length.
Important!
The remote control range may be reduced drastically if the receiver aerial is not placed correctly (e.g. if the
aerial is only in the boat's body). In this case, the model can no longer be controlled. Check that the receiver
aerial is placed correctly before every operation.

c) Inspecting the Ship's Propeller

Check the ship's propeller and its counter-nut for tight fit and damage before any voyage. A damaged ship's propeller
must be replaced before operation. If this is not observed, the ship's propeller may come loose or break apart unintended
in operation. There is a danger of further damage to your model. The model will also no longer be controllable.
On the ship's propeller, also observe further information in the chapter „Replacing the Ship's Propeller".

d) Inspecting the Rudder System

Figure 3 shows the rudder (1), the attachment
screws of the rudder (2), the rod connection for the
linkage rods (3), the connection of the water cooling
(4) and the entry openings of the water cooling (5).
For the first drive, the rudder (1) must be installed
with two threaded screws M3 x 10 mm. Plug the
linkage rods into the linage connection for this (3).
Switch your remote control on and put the steering
servo in the neutral position. Adjust the rudder in
the neutral position as well.
Now fasten the linkage rods with the hexagon socket
screw of the linkage connection. Check the function
of the rudder linkage.
