b) Commissioning

The operating instructions for the remote control system are included separately. Always observe all safety
information included in it as well as any other information!
• Only use suitable drive batteries for the vehicle. Never operate the speed controller with a mains adapter, not even
for test purposes.
Due to the construction of the vehicle, two identical-build LiPo rechargeable driving batteries with 2 cells
each (rated voltage 7.4 V) (not enclosed, can be ordered separately) must be inserted to maintain the best
centre of gravity. A matching Y-rechargeable battery adapter is enclosed with the vehicle at delivery.
Use of driving batteries with more cells, will damage the speed controller; loss of warranty/guarantee!
Operation of the vehicle with a single 4-cell LiPo driving battery is possible, but not recommended, since this
will relocate the centre of gravity of the vehicle to the left or right side and influence the driving conduct very
negatively.
• Always switch on the transmitter first when taking the vehicle into operation. Only then must the vehicle's drive
battery be connected with the speed controller and the speed controller switched on. Otherwise, the vehicle may
show unpredictable responses!
Proceed as follows:
Place the vehicle on an appropriate support before connecting the drive battery so that the wheels can turn
freely.
Check the position of the on/off switch of the speed controller and place it in the „OFF" position (switched
off).
Switch on the transmitter if you haven't done it already. Check its function (e.g. operation display of the
transmitter).
Put the trimming for the throttle/brake function at the transmitter into the centre position.
Insert the two driving batteries into the holder at the vehicle and fasten them. Now connect the two 2-cell
LiPo driving batteries to the speed controller via the enclosed Y-rechargeable battery adapter.
Hold the vehicle, but do not reach into the drive unit. There is a risk of serious injury! Never hold the vehicle
by its wheels!
Only then switch on the speed controller (switch position e.g. labelled „ON"). Wait for a few seconds until the
speed controller has completed its self-test and the orange LED at the speed controller lights up.
• Check that the vehicle reacts to remote control commands as expected (steering and drive) before taking it from the
support and placing it on the ground with its wheels.
The vehicle is operational only now.

c) Driving the Vehicle

• Improper operation may cause serious injury and property damage! Only drive with the model directly in view. This
is why you shouldn't drive at night.
• Only drive when your ability to react is unrestricted. Exhaustion or the influence of alcohol or medication can cause
incorrect responses, just as with real vehicles.
• Please note that this model vehicle must not be driven on public roads, places or streets. Also do not operate it on
private grounds without the owner's permission.
