9. Operation

a) "Radio" mode

• Press the button "RADIO ON/OFF" (11) to activate "Radio" mode. Now the display
(14) shows the current frequency.
• Press the button "AM/FM BAND/WEEK" (7) to select the desired frequency band
AM or FM (is shown on the left of the display).
• Use the "rotary control for frequency search" (12) to set the desired
frequency.
• 5 seconds after setting the radio frequency, the display (14) shows the time.
Press the button "Display" (1) once to display the currently set frequency.
• While "Radio" mode is activated, you can connect an external audio signal to the
port "AUX IN" (20) (e.g. a CD or MP3 player).
• Press the button "RADIO ON/OFF" (11) to deactivate "Radio" mode.
b) „SLEEP" mode
The clock radio has an integrated sleep timer. When activated, it turns off after a
certain time (options: 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 or 90 minutes).
While "Radio" mode is activated, press the button "SLEEP" (5) to call up "SLEEP"
mode. Press the button "SLEEP" (5) several times to set the desired time in minu-
tes. The time can be set in 10-minute steps from 90 to 10 minutes. If you press the
button "SLEEP" (5) while the display (14) shows 10 (=10 minutes), "SLEEP" mode
is deactivated.
If "SLEEP" mode is activated, the display (14) shows "SLEEP".
