Temperature unit

The temperature unit can be switched from degrees Celsius (°C) to degrees
Fahrenheit (°F). The current temperature unit is displayed next to the tem-
perature value.
Push the joystick up or down to switch the unit.
Confirm with "ENTER".
The setting point is ended and the next menu item is opened.
Emission degree
The emission degree can be set individually in this menu from 0.01 to 1.00. The set value is
displayed during measurement.

Degree of Emission of Different Surfaces
The emission degrees listed in the table are approximates. Various parameters, such as geometry and surface quality,
may influence the emission degree of an object.
The degree of emission can be set depending on application at the meter. However, observe that the IR
measuring method is only partially suitable for blank metals and that a special surface processing (e.g.
matte insulation tape, etc.) is necessary.
