c) Navigation in the display menu
The navigation joystick (2) can be used to select and unselect the individual
menu items and to set values. The control takes place in four directions to
the left, right, up and down.
If a value input is to be confirmed, push the joystick like a regular key. This
input corresponds to the command "ENTER". Every change of the preced-
ing status must be confirmed with the "ENTER" button, since the value
change will otherwise not be accepted.
Vertical push of a button
The setting is confirmed (ENTER).
Confirmation direction left
The setting menu is opened or closed.
Confirmation direction right
The next menu item is selected.
Confirmation direction up
The function status (ON/OFF) or the value is changed upwards. Pushing for a longer time permits quick adjustment.
Confirmation direction down
The function status (ON/OFF) or the value is changed downwards.
Pushing for a longer time permits quick adjustment.
d) System Settings
To get to the setting mode, push the joystick (2) to the left with the meter on. The setting menu is opened. Then push
the joystick to the right. Menu item 1 is displayed.
The setting menu can be terminated at any time by pushing the joystick (2) to the left.
The following menu items can be selected in sequence:
LED flash light
With the function activated, the white LED light (9) at the front will be acti-
vated every time the measuring button is pushed for IR measurement. The
activated flash light function is displayed with the light symbol.
Push the joystick up or down to switch the function ON or OFF. Confirm
with "ENTER".
The setting point is ended and the next menu item is opened.
UV lighting
With the function activated, the UV LED light (7) at the front will be activated
every time the measuring button is pushed for IR measurement. The acti-
vated UV function is displayed with the "UV" symbol.
Push the joystick up or down to switch the function ON or OFF. Confirm
with "ENTER".
The setting point is ended and the next menu item is opened.
