Fault
The frozen food is
frozen solid.
There is a thick layer
of frost in the freezer
compartment.
The frozen food
is thawing.
The temperature in
the cool fresh"
compartment is too
cold or too warm.

Possible cause
The ambient temperature
is colder than +16 °C. The
refrigerating unit is starting
less frequently.
The fixed setting has been
selected too high or too low.
Remedial action
Loosen frozen food with a blunt object.
Do not use a knife or pointed object. You could
damage the refrigerant tubing or the plastic surface.
Defrosting the freezer compartment (see
Defrosting). Always ensure that the freezer
compartment door is closed properly.
Freezer compartment door must click" shut.
Increase the ambient temperature above +16 °C.
The temperature in the cool fresh" compartment
can be corrected (for example, if there is frost in the
cool fresh" compartment).
To do this, switch off On/Off button 1.
Simultaneously press buttons 1 and 3 until display 6
flashes.
To set the temperature, keep pressing the button 3
until the required temperature is displayed.
Setting 0 - coldest setting
Setting 6 - warmest setting
Setting 4 factory setting (almost 0 °C)
The numbers on the display do not correspond to °C
temperatures in the cool fresh" compartment.
The set temperature is saved after 1 minute and the
display switches back to the current temperature in
the refrigerator compartment.
