To restore these default settings, you first have to get to the advanced menu as
described above. "rSEt" is stated in the display. Now, press the MENU button to re-
store the default settings. The machine beeps three times to indicate the restoration.
The machine now prompts you to set water hardness. "Hrd3" lights up. You can
select your water hardness with the arrow buttons ▲ or▲▼ and confirm by pressing
the MENU button or press the EXIT button if the pre-set water hardness value 3 is
correct to return to standby mode.

The temperature unit is displayed next to "SEt". The standard setting is °C. Go to
the advanced menu. "rSEt" is displayed. Press the ▲ button multiple times to get
to the "SEt" setting. Then, press the MENU and arrow buttons ▲▲or ▼ to set the
desired temperature unit. You can choose between Fahrenheit "°F" ▲ and Celsius
"°C" ▼. Press the MENU button, the setting is saved. The machine beeps once to
confirm the setting.

You can change the steam temperature to control the steam pressure.
Choose a lower steam temperature for steaming little amounts of milk or to have
more control over the steaming process. If you want to steam large amounts of milk
however, you should increase the steam temperature.
Proceed as follows:
Go to the advanced menu. "rSEt" is displayed. Press the ▲ button multiple times to
get to the "StEA" setting. Then, press the MENU button. Use the arrow buttons ▲▲
or ▼ to set the desired temperature.
Press the MENU button to save the setting. The machine beeps once to indicate
that the setting has been made. The default steam temperature setting is 135 °C.
